 "Be humble, act deferential. Nobody is better than you, you are better than nobody, be the best version of yourself." - Jocelyn Escobedo This quote is stated and created by me. This is one quote I like to live by because we live in a society where everyone is trying to be someone else. For example most of us are influenced by the hottest celebrities. Girls are expected to have perfect bodies, nice makeup, while guys are anticipated on having money, having designer clothes. It's fine if you want, but you don't have to completely change yourself in order to look or be better than another person. Be yourself, at the end of the day, we all have the same heart and lungs inside of us. 

"Goodness is the only investment that never fails." This quote states that in whatever you do, whatever decisions you makes, always keep them positive. In any action you makes, make sure its choosing the right. We do not want to end up like the men in the video, in which chose the wrong and are now sentenced to prison. One wrong action can lead to much worse consequences, and its easily preventable. You can prevent this by just not doing wrong. Instead, take the time to do a positive act of kindness like the people in the second video. 

 Student Success Statement  "Many think that the short term  gain will be worth the long term pain, but it isn't. In addition, using steroids is cheating, and there is nothing worse in sports than a cheater, don't do it."  This quote is stating that you shouldn't be cheating in sports by taking steroids, or cheating life in general. At the end of the day you'll always get caught up, so don't do it.

"Associate with people of good quality if you esteem your own reputation; for it's  better to be alone than in bad company." Associate with people  who choose the right, not who encourage you to do steal, drink, do drugs, etc. Those are the types  of people  you don t need in your life. "Friends" who influence you to do negative things are not really your friends . Friends  are suppose to encourage  you to do whats right.
