Electronic Portfolio

1. I liked some things about this class. I liked that we were taught different life lessons, other than just learning about computers and typing. Mr. Haymore is a very patient teacher, and is very kind. 2. Some things that I didn't like about the class, was that we had assigned seats. That's all. 3. Some recommendations for improving the class could maybe be letting people sit where they want. Then, moving them if they need to be moved. 4. I don't really read my life planning goals journal EVERY day, however I try to write at least 4 times on the weekdays. 5. Am I committed to being a CTR person 24/7? Sometimes.. When I do choose the wrong, I begin to think about the phrase that Mr. Haymore taught us, which is "choose the right". And I try to fix my mistake whether that be being honest, telling the truth, etc. 6. There are many life lessons I learned in this class. "I have been asked what i mean by "word of honor". I will tell you: Place me behind prison walls- walls of stone ever so high, ever so thick, reaching ever so far into the ground- there is is a possibility that in some way or another I might be able to escape, but stand me in a floor and draw a chalk line around me and i give my word of honor never to cross it, Can i get out of the circle? no, never! I'd die first. Basically this is saying that if you have made a promise, you must go through with it and do not break it. Always keep your word with anything, if someone  tells you a secret, do not be a stupes lil chismosa and start telling everyone. just stay lowkey about shii and everything outta be ight.

 1. Treat the Earth and all that dwells therein with respect.  2. Remain close to the Great Spirit  3. Show great respect to your fellow beings.   4. Work together for the benefit of all mankind.  5. Give assistance and kindness whenever needed.  6. Do what you know to be right.  7. Look after the well-being of the body and mind.   8. Dedicate a share of your efforts to the greater good.   9. Be truthful and honest at all times.   10. Take full responsibility for your actions.  Reflection:  I think these commandments should heavily be followed by everyone, not just Indians. I do not know what 2 means. I feel like it has to do with being faithful to your religion? Other than that, the rest of the commandments have to do with having good character, being polite to the Earth and its resources, and just being a good human being in general. 

"Goodness is the only investment that never fails." This quote states that in whatever you do, whatever decisions you makes, always keep them positive. In any action you makes, make sure its choosing the right. We do not want to end up like the men in the video, in which chose the wrong and are now sentenced to prison. One wrong action can lead to much worse consequences, and its easily preventable. You can prevent this by just not doing wrong. Instead, take the time to do a positive act of kindness like the people in the second video. 

Student Success Statement:  "My basic principle is that you do not make decisions because they're easy; you do not make them because they are cheap; you not make them because they are popular; you make them because they're right."  Theodore Hesburgh is stating that the main thing in life is to choose the right when coming up with a decision. Do not go the easy way, the fast way, or they way that is done just because everyone is doing it. You've got to set standards for yourself, and if you know something is not right, then DO NOT do it. 

 Student Success Statement  "Many think that the short term  gain will be worth the long term pain, but it isn't. In addition, using steroids is cheating, and there is nothing worse in sports than a cheater, don't do it."  This quote is stating that you shouldn't be cheating in sports by taking steroids, or cheating life in general. At the end of the day you'll always get caught up, so don't do it.

"I wont cheat"  Whats so bad about cheating if you wont get caught? Some people don't get caught, how ever some of us do. For the people that don't get caught, eventually karma comes back a day, week, month, etc, later. In 2nd grade, I used to cheat on my multiplication test with little cheat sheets, yes I was the only one who got all of them right, but a week later we had a surprise quiz, and i didn't have my cheat sheet smh! #CaughtUp Then it was pretty obvious that I didn't study, therefore I didn't get my ice cream sundae. #SMHagain So just dont cheat, simple as that. This also goes for relationships. Yeah you might not get caught at the moment, nor they may not find out at all, but at the end of the day, you live with the guilt, and bad karma will get you back. So, do everything with complete honesty and choose the right. 

Student Success Statement " Right is right only when entire." This means that if you have to tell the truth, say the entire thing, not just part if it. When you are only saying part of the truth, it is still considered an entire lie.  For example, if i only cheated on one question from a test, technically i'd be cheating on the whole test itself.
