Area 51

Area 51

Today for my final, I am going to be talking about a very interesting topic, Area 51. I decided to choose this subject because there are many conspiracies regarding this specific topic. Area 51, as it's commonly known to UFO conspiracy theorists and aviation buffs who piece together the details of classified military spy plane prototypes, is a place whose existence the U.S. government long refused even to acknowledge.
Area 51 is located in the southern portion of Nevada in the western United States, 83 miles (134 km) north-northwest of Las Vegas. Its is to be rumored that the remains of crashed UFO spacecrafts are stored at Area 51, the Air Force, where government scientists reverse-engineer the aliens' highly advanced technology. It is claimed that alien flying saucers crashed on Earth, such as the alleged 1947 Roswell incident, and that the wreckage and even corpses were taken to Area 51 for experimentation and to be analyzed away from public view.
One of the most discussed and controversial "alien" related topics, was the Roswell incident.
In July 1947 the military sensationally announced in a press release it had found the remains of acrashed flying saucer in the desert. But the following day it retracted the statement, saying it was in fact a damaged US Air Force air balloon. This already brings up suspicion. Sheriff Jess Slaughter and Deputy Sheriff Charles Fogus were on duty in a patrol car on the night of the alleged incident, when suddenly they heard reports of a crashed aircraft on their police radio.
In the interview Mr Fogus claims he saw a flying saucer smash into the side of a river bed and that the flying object was “100ft across”.
Describing the scene, he said: “When we got there, the land was covered with soldiers. They were hauling a big, creature.
“The bodies must have been 5 feet tall.
“I saw the legs and feet on some of them. They looked like our feet.”
