What is Presidents Day? Presidents’ Day is an American holiday celebrated on the third Monday in February 19. Originally established in 1885 in recognition of President George Washington, it is still officially called “Washington’s Birthday” by the federal government. Some ways to honor presidents day is people use it as a date for staging celebrations, reenactments and other events. I can show honor by going to some of these events and participating.

Current Health Related Issue  Depression & Anxiety  A current issue that is affecting a lot of people right now is depression and anxiety. Having depression is having  feelings of severe despondency and dejection. While having anxiety, is having  a feeling of worry, nervousness, or unease, typically about an imminent event or something with an uncertain outcome. Both are very similar though. W hile   depression   is often considered a low energy state and anxiety is considered a high energy state, anxiety and depression are more related than people think. This is one quote I like to live by because we live in a society where everyone is trying to be someone else. For example most of us are influenced by the hottest celebrities. Girls are expected to have perfect bodies, nice makeup, while guys are anticipated on having money, having designer clothes. It's fine if you want, but you don't have to completely change yourself in order to look or be better than another person. Be yourself, at the end of the day, we all have the same heart and lungs inside of us.
