Salary: The lowest 10 percent earned less than $38,720, and the top 10 percent earned more than $110,880. The median annual wages for psychologist occupations in May 2012 were as follows: $83,580 for industrial-organizational psychologists. 

Education Required: Doctoral Degree (4 to 7 Years) The required degree for licensure is typically a Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) or Doctor of Philosophy in Psychology (PhD). Your choice of degree will depend on your career goals and whether you want a career in practice (PsyD) or in research (PhD), or some combination thereof.
